A Step at a Time

Hey y'all! Well, I feel sorry for all of y'all. I haven't posted an actual blog post for.... a long time. Yeah. So today I am going to attempt to give y'all a quick summary of the past few months. So, here we go! May We sold our house in December and had been living in a rental. In May, we finally bought a house. The house needed a bit of work, so we were driving back and forth from our rental to the house for about 2 months. June-July We went on vacation to Pennsylvania (the Amish country, specifically).  A few highlights of the trip: We were down for breakfast at the hotel we were staying at. There were a few elderly ladies sitting at the table in front of us. They were so sunny, smiling, talking, and saying "Hi!" to practically everyone that passed their table. My mom asked them "Excuse me, where are y'all from?" They told us that they were from SC. We responded with excited tones that we were from the same state. And oh how the...

Hey y'all! ( This post is long overdue, I'm sorry! I have so many posts started, but not finished, and today I am determined to post this. Hey y'all! I have meant to post this for such a long time, but I have been so busy with school, projects, papers, and stuff like that. But better late than never, right? First off, a big thank you to all who prayed for us!  To tell you the truth, my heart is torn now. I love my country, the USA, my friends, and especially my church, but I also loves my mom's home country, and all of my family. (Right now, this describes me perfectly :P It gets a little annoying, honestly. If I don't remember a word in English, I say it in Spanish. I wish Spanglish was a real language....) Our departure of the States was a huge miracle, and it would take too much time to tell you everything (though I wish I could, truly!). Hey guys! I just wanted to share a little bit of what's been going on now. Our lives have been turned upside during the last few days. But God has been with us through all. Tomorrow we board our flight to Panama I have a few prayer requests: -Safety as we travel. -May God allow us to be salt and light to my family in Panama. -Panama is a dark country.
